Ahhhhhh this is the best announcement ever, Kendra!!! Full hands, full hearts. So happy for you, and I love the invitation you've just given us to bend ourselves toward gratitude. ❤️
I’m so glad I just discovered your Substack through Coffee + Crumbs! I’m a relatively new part of the community and loved your essay so much. I found myself smiling and “mm-hmm-ing” all throughout it as I have a 4 year old, 2.5 year old, and 6 month old with a husband who works as a pastor. Life is so very full but overflowing with echoes of his grace everywhere. Excited for your family in this season, and looking forward to connecting more through Exhale!
Bekah! I am so glad you commented here-- I clicked on your substack and saw myself staring into a tiny mirror of sorts. Does that make sense? Kindred spirits? I can't put my finger on the right wording BUT I'm happy you're a part of exhale and I'm excited to follow along. We are also in the PNW, in downtown Puyallup!
In light of all the hospitality talk at CC, I love this: "The house looks adequate for hosting."
My favorite line ;)
I immediately thought of the hospitality book after I typed that sentence!
Congratulations my sweet friend!!!!

Thank you, Janelle!
Congratulations! I loved hearing about the rhythms of the day, and how such a small shift made a difference in how they felt for you
Thank you! I really love how you worded that. Isn't it the small shifts that make the biggest difference?
